Chitosan is a "positively charged natural active product" in nature. It is known as the "sixth vital factor of human body" except sugar, protein, fat, vitamin and mineral, and plays a very important role in human physiological activities.
Character: The appearance is grayish-white, non-toxic, tasteless, amorphous, translucent, pearlescent flake or powdery solid; decomposed at 185°c. Insoluble in water and alkali solution, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and other inorganic acids, as well as most organic acids.
Product application:
1. as a hemostatic agent to promote coagulation and wound healing.
2. acts as a drug sustained release agent to stimulate body activity.
3. for artificial organs and tissues.
4. for medicine: lowering blood lipids, lowering blood pressure, lowering blood sugar, regulating the ph value in the body.
